Being a wholesale and by appointment facility, Giftcenter & Jewelrymart is not open to the public. To retain the integrity of the wholesale-retail relationship, the following admission requirements have been established: For entry, buyers must present ALL of the following pieces of business identification at the Registration Desk.

(a) copy of state resale/retail license (i.e., seller’s permit) (b) business card (imprinted with name of buyer) or business check (c) personal identification (e.g., valid driver’s license, other photo ID, etc.)

Permanent Passes: Holders must present their passes at the Registration Desk in addition to photo ID. Using specific guidelines, the Registration Staff will determine the type of badge issued based upon the credentials presented.

No persons under the age of 16 will be allowed in the wholesale areas of the building. Children’s proof of age required. Infants in front-or back-packs are the only exceptions. No strollers or carried are permitted in the building.

No more than two (2) guests may accompany each buyer.

Lost and Found

Please contact the Front Registration Desk for lost property. Giftcenter & Jewelrymart does not assume responsibility for lost or stolen items. Photographic equipment (cameras, video cameras, etc.) is not permitted in the wholesale areas of the building without prior permission from building management.

Directions

BART: Take Bart to the Civic Center Station; exit on the 8th Street side and then walk the six blocks down 8th Street to the corner of 8th and Brannan. You may also take the 19 Polk Muni bus from the corner of Market and 8th Street to 8th and Brannan.

MUNI: The Giftcenter & Jewelrymart is served by 5 MUNI routes, the 19 Polk, 47 Van Ness, the 10 Townsend, 27 Bryant and the 12 Folsom-Pacific. The southbound 19 Polk stops at the corner of 8th and Brannan St. All other routes stop at 8th Street, one to three blocks from Brannan St. Check your muni map or visit www.nextmuni.com for detailed information.

Parking: There are several public parking lot available in the area. The closest one is located between 8th & 9th on Brannan St. Other lots are within a block from the building. All lots are individually owned, and usually charge between $10 – $15 per day, depending upon events in the neighborhood.

Please note that these lots are public lots and require that drivers pay for the parking spots regardless of whether there is an attendant on duty. Lots typically have a pamynet box or enelope at entry for drivers to deposit money. Street parking is also available. Have quarters available for the meters and observe all parking signs, as parking laws are enforced in the area.
